this place is unbelievably good! sue and steve are the nicest hosts ever, super welcoming with homemade ginger cake and tea at arrival. the king size room had AMAZING views of the lake. It was so clean and comfy. breakfast every morning had loads of options and was cooked to perfection. location was chill too, just a quick walk to keswick centre.
the parking space was a bit tight and it could get crowded at times. also, it would be nice to have a fridge in the room.

The room was spotless with stunning views, and it was great to have coffee and biscuits waiting for us. Enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden and cozy TV room after a day of exploring. The only thing was that the bathroom was down a flight of stairs, but it wasn't a big deal. I’d definitely recommend it! 😊

Perfect for Solo Travelers
The breakfast was a revelation! Every morning I reveled in the local delights, it was like a feast fit for a king. Sue and Steve were so helpful, they even provided me with binoculars for the fine mountain views which were just magnificent! I could sit there, morning coffee in hand, just soaking in the beauty.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience I had, it was acceptable.

The breakfast was a proper feast! I couldn't get enough of the poached eggs on sourdough—absolute banger! Plus, the beautiful cakes in the nearby café were a treat for my sweet tooth. Oh, and Debbie’s hospitality? Top-notch, just like the clean, cozy rooms with stunning views!
The bathroom was a bit of a trek, down a flight of stairs, but it wasn't a dealbreaker—still enjoyed my stay to bits!

We had an amazing time with stunning lake views and attentive hosts. We visited Buttermere and Derwentwater, both a must-see! Breakfast was delicious, with fresh local produce. The cozy rooms made our stay even better. Highly recommend this spot for a getaway with friends!
The only downside was that there was no option for late check-out, which would have been nice after such a long stay.
